Bukeka – Mduduzi Mnisi

Mduduzi Mnisi is a sculptor from northern Eswatini, originally from Nkaba near Malolotja. His passion for art was sparked at a young age by his father, a skilled sculptor, whom he assisted for many years selling handmade soapstone sculptures by the roadside. This early exposure to the craft inspired Mduduzi to pursue sculpting professionally. He later moved to Malkerns to focus on his artistic journey and currently works at Swazi Candles, where he continues to use his skills to create unique works of art. His current work Bukeka, are animal sculptures designed and made from soft wood.
