XOLELWA MALINGA

Xolelwa Malinga – Visual Artist

Born and raised in the Kingdom of Eswatini, Xolelwa Malinga is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist whose work is deeply rooted in the exploration of the female form. Through her art, she captures the subtle language of body movement and posture, using the female figure as a vessel for emotional and thematic expression. Her practice explores ideas of beauty, freedom, and confidence, serving as a celebration of womanhood and an invitation toward self-acceptance. Malinga’s work seeks to challenge conventional perceptions of the black female body, confronting its historical and modern objectification while promoting a narrative of empowerment and respect.
